Booking Conditions
By booking with Vicentina Travel, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
- Booking Process
To book a trip:
- Contact Us: Send an email to info@vicentinatravel.com with your preferred program, room type (single/twin/matrimonial), and any dietary restrictions.
- Pre-Reservation: We will confirm accommodation availability and send you a pre-reservation email with booking details.
- Deposit Payment: A 30% deposit is required to confirm your booking. Payment can be made via:
- Bank Transfer: Details provided upon request.
- Credit Card: VISA or MASTERCARD. An authorization form will be sent with the pre-reservation email.
- Online Payment Platforms: Such as ex:TransferWise or Revolut.
- Final Confirmation: Upon receipt of the deposit, we will send a final confirmation email and confirm your trip code. At this point, please provide your arrival time to finalize logistics.
- Payments
- Deposit: 30% of the total holiday cost is due upon booking.
- Balance: The remaining 70% is payable locally at the first hotel upon arrival, using cash, debit, or credit card (VISA or MASTERCARD).
- Bank Charges: Clients are responsible for any bank charges, including those from intermediary banks for international transfers.
- Booking Modifications
Changes to your booking should be requested as early as possible. While we will make efforts to accommodate changes, we cannot guarantee availability or acceptance of modifications.
- Cancellations and Refunds
- Deposit: The 30% deposit becomes non-refundable 29 days before the start of your holiday.
- Balance Payment: The remaining balance is due upon arrival and is non-refundable once paid.
- Accommodation
- Standard Accommodation: We use locally owned hotels with private bathrooms. If the listed accommodation is unavailable, we will provide alternatives of the same standard.
- Single Supplements: Solo travelers are required to pay a single supplement for private rooms.
- Room Types: Rooms may be smaller or have fewer facilities compared to double/twin rooms.
- Meals
- Breakfast: Typically includes coffee, toast, bread, or croissants. Some locations may offer a wider variety.
- Special Dietary Requirements: Please inform us of any dietary needs when booking, so we can notify our accommodation partners.
- Luggage
- Transfers: Luggage is transferred between accommodations. In some cases, you may need to carry your luggage to your room. Please ask hotel staff for assistance if needed.
- Insurance
All clients must have appropriate travel insurance covering the activities included in their itinerary.
- Language
In remote areas, English may not be widely spoken. Embrace the cultural experience by learning a few words of Portuguese.
- Liability
Vicentina Travel acts as an intermediary between clients and local service providers. We are not liable for damages, losses, or incidents beyond our control, including accidents, delays, strikes, or weather conditions.
- Governing Law
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Odemira, Portugal, unless otherwise required by law.
